51652 MYB 25/07/91
Class 115: The first of five similar long-frame high-density classes (115-118 and 127), the 41 4-car class 115s were built primarily for the Chiltern routes from Marylebone, which they operated until replaced by class 165 sets by 1992. Six sets originally worked the CLC route between Liverpool and Manchester before transferring to the Chilterns, and some units saw further use from Tyseley until final withdrawal in 1994.
Marylebone, 25th July 1991, and DMBS 51652 awaits departure for (yet another run to) Ay;asbury. New in March 1960 to this route, it was withdrawn in February 1993 and scrapped by Gwent Demolition, Margam in June 1994.
